Softball Scores Seven On All-Conference Squad

Randalls Player of the Year, Woods Rookie of the Year

(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The United East announced its 2026 softball all-conference teams and major award winners on Tuesday with Wilson College piling up the honors like they were base hits. The Phoenix led the league with seven players receiving all-conference accolades including Emily Randalls (So., Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern York) who was named Player of the Year and Addison Woods (FY, North East, Md. / Tome School) who was named Rookie of the Year.

In addition to Randalls and Woods, Katelyn Keller (So., Orrtanna, Pa. / Gettysburg) and Sydney Hartle (So., Keedysville, Md. / Boonsboro) were first team selections. Elena Worthington (Jr., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg) and Jenna Weaver (So., Camp Hill, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) were chosen to the second team, while Rylee Piper (Jr., Newville, Pa. / Big Spring) took third team honors.

Randalls was stellar at the plate all season with a conference-best batting average of .557 which ranked fourth in the nation. Her on-base percentage was also eye-popping at .593, good for No. 10 in Division III. She clocked 61 hits on the year which included seven doubles and five triples. The speedy centerfielder also swiped 27 bases almost guaranteeing she'd be in scoring position once on base. She was second in the conference with 43 runs scored and fifth with 24 RBIs. Randalls also sported a perfect fielding percentage with 70 putouts and three assists.

Woods had a fantastic season overall where she hit .358 while starting in left field, but she excelled even more in conference play where she hit .521 with 25 hits. A dozen of those went for extra bases with eight doubles, two triples and two home runs. She totaled 11 multiple hit games during the year and hit safely three times in four contests. Woods hit safely in 31 of 41 games as well.

Keller becomes a two-time all-conference and elevates to the first team after being a third team selection last season. She joined Randalls as one of the best hitters with a .472 batting average that was fifth in the conference and in the top 50 in the nation. Despite being a sophomore, her seven triples this season give her 19 in her career which is ninth in Division III and 11th in the entirety of the NCAA. She ended the season on a 12-game hit streak.

Hartle also becomes a two-time all-conference selection and joins the first team after being a second team selection last season. Her .426 batting average was third on a stacked Phoenix lineup. She recorded a team-best 17-game hit streak with 11 multiple hit games. She ended the season by reaching base safely in 18 consecutive games.

Worthington easily proved her worth for the Blue and White with a 2.58 ERA which ranked seventh in the United East. Among league opponents, that number improved to a 1.99 ERA, fifth-best in the conference. One of many highlights this season came when Worthington threw a no-hitter against Cedar Crest on April 4. She fanned a season-high seven batters in the game-opening win over Penn State Harrisburg as well.

Weaver is a two-time selection and moves to the second team after being on the third team in 2025. She hit .338 on the season with 25 hits, 23 runs, and 16 RBIs. She put together an 11-game reached base streak during the season. She proved difficult to strike out as she did so only five times while receiving a walk 16 times.

Piper is now a two-time third team selection and was second on the team with a 3.28 ERA. She finished the season 6-3 with five complete games. She pitched 59.2 innings and limited walks to single digits with nine. She struck out a season-best five batters against Hood and tossed a complete game shutout against St. Elizabeth.
