How It Happened
  • Penn State Berks initially got on the board with two goals 1:38 apart in the 13th and 15th minutes. The score remained there throughout halftime. Coming out of the break, the Phoenix found some life when Claire Thompson (FY, Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) found Breanna Oliviero (So., Wernersville, Pa. / Conrad Weiser) in the 50th minute. Unfortunately the momentum didn't last long as Berks got the goal back just eight minutes later. Berks went on to add insurance goals in the 70th and 72nd minutes.
