(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Another year is in the books with numerous highlights across the board for Wilson Phoenix athletics as every team had a postseason appearance with most having a major record broken. In addition to excelling in the field of competition, the Blue and White also shined in the classroom.
As a result, 18 Phoenix student-athletes were recently inducted into the Alpha Chi chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national collegiate student-athlete honor society. In doing so, Wilson College eclipsed the century mark and now has 101 members in just its fourth year.
In order to be a member, student-athletes must be a junior or senior with a 3.4 cumulative GPA after five completed semesters at Wilson or after two semesters for transfer students. Those who maintain a 3.4 for the rest of their academic studies graduate with cords.
