(LATHAM, N.Y.) – Records continue to be set as 68 student-athletes were named United East Scholar Athletes for the winter and spring seasons. The number breaks the previous mark of 66 set just a year ago. It's the second consecutive year the Phoenix have had at least 60 conference scholar athletes, and the fourth-straight year of having at least 50.
A total of 1,184 scholar athletes were named by the league for the winter and spring seasons. The recipients represent all 17 full members of the conference and an additional four associate members. Wilson ranked seventh overall in the field.
In order to be selected, a student-athlete competing in a winter or spring conference-sponsored sport must achieve a grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the winter and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. A breakdown of scholar-athletes totals by institution and a key for the scholar-athlete list are provided below.
