Armani Jones (Sr., Chicago, Ill. / Christ The King / Bryant & Stratton) who scored in double-figures while shooting 50% from the field, but it wasn't enough to counter the Marauders' balanced and inside presence.

How It Happened

The 6-9 forward scored or assisted 15 points in the first five minutes as the Marauders jumped out to an 18-4 lead. However, Millersville soon increased its lead with Tchilombo scoring the next four.
- The Phoenix experienced more success in the second half. Jones had four early points including a bucket off of a tip-in. A couple of minutes later he added an inside jumper and converted the and-one free throw after being fouled on the play. He assisted on a couple of makes as he set up Jalen Pierce (Sr., Richmond, Va. / Collegiate / Millersville) on a fast break layup and Quinton Renigar (Jr., Charlottesville, Va. / Regents / Valley Forge) on a 3-pointer.
