Ashlynn Babbitt (FY, Edenton, N.C. / John A. Holmes) all had five kills for the Phoenix, but it wasn't enough to overcome the strong Abington attack.

How It Happened
- The Lions got off to a fast start with a 7-2 lead. Garcelon tried to get the Phoenix back on track with a kill, but Abington kept pushing its lead. Babbitt helped trim the deficit with a kill and an ace, but it was too much to overcome as the Lions scored five consecutive and 10 of the next 12.
- Set 2 saw Wilson get off to its best start of the day. Alison Daniels (So., Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) tied the set with a kill before Babbitt put Wilson in front with one of her own. Daniels later did the same before serving up an ace for a 8-6. The Lions answered with the next four points and nine of the next 10 en route to a 2-0 set lead.
- Kills by Babbitt and Moreland gave the Phoenix a tie set early in the third, but they were unable to capitalize on the semifinal. Garcelon scored a couple of kills, but Abington proved to be too strong and took the sweep.
Inside The Numbers
- Addie Hebert (Jr., Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg) paced the receiving end with 11 digs. Garcelon joined her in double figures with 10.
