How It Happened
- The hosting Eagles jumped out to a fast 10-0 lead over the first three minutes to start the game. A 3-pointer by Kailee Soto (FY., Lancaster, Pa. / Columbia) on a dish from Mackenzie Caldwell-Degnon (So., Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) helped the Phoenix cut the deficit to 12-6, but the Phoenix had no answer for Bridgewater's firepower. For the final five minutes the Eagles regained momentum by going on a 14-2 run. Bridgewater kept extending the lead in the second quarter and throughout the game.
