Men's Soccer Falls on Senior Day to St. E's

(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – There was a lot worth celebrating as the Wilson men's soccer team hosted St. Elizabeth for Senior Day and Wilson Weekend on Saturday. Unfortunately one of those things wasn't a win as the Eagles defeated the Phoenix after they scored a pair of first half goals in the United East matchup.

Seniors Colin Davidson (Sr., Northampton, Pa. / Northampton), Jorge Cortez (Sr., Columbia, Tenn. / Spring Hill), and Ian Ruiz (Sr., Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico / Colegio Santa Maria del Camino) were all playing in their final home game for the Phoenix and were honored prior to the game.

The visitors eventually broke through, however, and made it a 2-0 game in the 40th minute. The score remained there through the second half as the visitors kept the Phoenix attack at bay.
