How It Happened

  • Widener kept the momentum going and got off to a fast start in the third, but Wilson responded with a 9-1 run to take a 10-6 lead with Xavier Webber leading the way with a pair of kills. Wilson led as late as 18-16 and was tied as late as 20-20, but Widener scored the next three points afterwards and remained in front for the win.
