VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) is proud to announce the 2021-22 All-CSAC Women's Basketball team. The team, comprised of players from all ten CSAC institutions that sponsor women's basketball, was voted upon by the coaches in the league who were not permitted to vote for their own players. The team includes first, second and honorable mention All-CSAC, Player, Defensive and Rookie of the Year, as well as Coach of the Year and the 3-D Award. Also, players were nominated for the All-Sportsmanship team by their respective coaches.
The Wilson College women's basketball team landed two student-athletes on the All-CSAC teams with junior
Yaya Cannon (Lancaster, Pa., Elizabethtown College) receiving Second-Team honors, and junior
Samira Murphy (Virginia Beach, VA., Great Bridge Christian) earning Honorable Mention honors. This season
Cannon has helped lead the team with 13.3 points per game, while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 25 percent from the three-point line.
Murphy led the team in blocks (26) and averaged 14 points per game, while shooting 31 percent from the floor and 22 percent from the three-point line.
