(VILLANOVA, Pa.) – The 2022-23 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll has been released and Wilson has been selected to repeat as the top team in the league. The Phoenix receive 63 points and seven of the first place votes during the process.
Cairn was picked second and received 56 points and the lone remaining first place vote. From there Saint Elizabeth was picked third with 36 points. The Eagles edged out Bryn Athyn and Keystone who tied for fourth with 34 points to round out the top five.
Rosemont just missed out on a top five pick with 34 points for the sixth spot. Clarks Summit received 21 points for seventh, and Valley Forge received 12 points to complete the poll.
The Phoenix will begin their season on the road at Gettysburg's Tip-Off Tournament when they take on Eastern on Friday, November 11.
