The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Senior  Lindsey Purvis (Fort Myers, Fla., South Fort Myers) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in last week's women's basketball contests.

Purvis is having a great year for the Phoenix. She is averaging 15.8 points per game and 9.7 rebounds. Last week she averaged 16 points and 12.6 rebounds in three games, including a 22-point performance in a win over Cedar Crest.
