The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Junior Krista Nayadley (Hampton, Va., Hampton) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in last week's field hockey contest.

The Phoenix had just one game last week but Nayadley played an important role in the contest. In a 4-1 victory over Notre Dame of Maryland, she recorded four big saves for the Phoenix while allowing just one goal. On the season Nayadley has 84 total saves and has allowed 20 goals giving her a .808 save percentage which is good enough for first in the conference.
