The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Freshman Jenna Carty (Chambersburg, Pa., Greencastle-Antrim) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance on the softball field.

Carty had a great week in helping the Phoenix to a 4-0 record in conference play with a blistering .455 batting average. She had a homerun in each game and collected 4 RBI's versus SUNY Cobleskill as the team won both games by scores of 9-0 and 9-1 respectively. Carty also added a double in a 11-1 victory over Gallaudet and recorded a triple in the game 2 victory over Cobleskill. She currently leads the Phoenix with 13 hits,3 homerun's, and 8 RBI's on the season.
