The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Sophomore Alexis Stewart (Brentwood, Ca., Independence) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in soccer.

Stewart had a great week for Phoenix women's soccer as the team notched it's first win of the season. Stewart hit the game winner just before time expired in the first half as she ripped a shot from outside the 18 and found the top of the goal. The Phoenix would go on to defeat SUNY Cobleskill 2-1.
