The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week.” Junior Kayla Sullenberger   (Mechanicsburg, Pa. , Cumberland Valley ) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance on the softball field.

Sullenberger is off to a hot start with the bat this season as she leads the Phoenix with a team high .333 batting average. She also leads the team in hits (10), doubles (2), home runs (2), RBI (9), total bases (18) and slugging percentage (.600).  Sullenberger had an outstanding performance in a double header sweep of Mary Baldwin as she went 4-for-6 at the plate with 2 home runs, a double and 8 RBI, while also pitching a complete game shutout in the circle.
