Kailey Vande Kamp

Vande Kamp joined Wilson as the director of equestrian teams and the head coach of the Western team in January 2025. She had previously worked as an assistant trainer with Cathy Herrin Performance Horses the last three years. Prior to that she was an assistant coach for horse judging and equestrian teams at Middle Tennessee State University.

While with Cathy Herrin Performance Horses, Kailey managed and trained up to 20 client horses and provided client riding lessons. She has also worked at the Jaeckle Center as an equine rehabilitation assistant where she provided rehabilitation and care for performance horses.

Vande Kamp went to MTSU where she was an accomplished student-athlete in addition to being an assistant coach. In 2022, she won the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association Year End All-Around Championship. She was also an All-American Quarter Horse Congress Overall Limited Division Horse Judging Champion in 2017.

She graduated twice from MTSU with a bachelor's degree in animal science in 2019 and a master’s degree in horse science in 2021.
