Andrew Williams enters the 2020 season in his second year as the Pep Band Director at Wilson College. In addition to his duties at Wilson, Williams is entering his 12th year as the Director of Bands at East Pennsboro High School where he conducts the Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and various small ensembles. He also advises the Color Guard program and the newly created chapter of Tri-M National Music Honor Society. His teaching responsibilities include music theory, music history, and applied piano/guitar methods. The foundation of Mr. Williamsâ instructional philosophy is an emphasis on teamwork, musicianship, and student leadership.

Recent accomplishments for the program include a 6th consecutive WGI Percussion Regional Finals appearance, a second top three WGI Color Guard Regional finish, and a Silver Medal in KIDA Percussion Finals. The Marching Band won the 2014 Cavalcade of Bands American Class Championship.

Andrew holds a B.S.Ed. in Music Education from Mansfield University and a M.M. in Instrumental Conducting from Messiah College. Mr. Williams is a member of PMEA, CCMEA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He has served as CCEMA Vice President for the last 5 years and organizes the Cumberland County Band Festival annually at Messiah College.
