Yaniello became the head coach of the Wilson College men’s golf team in the before the spring season in 2024. He was initially hired on an interim basis, but after helping the team improve dramatically, the interim tag was removed.

His first season was highlighted at the United East Championship where the Blue and White opened the tournament with a 336 to set a new single round record for the program. The first round total broke Wilson’s previous mark by an incredible 10 strokes and had the Phoenix in contention for a top five finish.

Yaniello is no stranger to athletics as he served in a variety of roles in the field including as a head coach and an athletic director. Incredibly accomplished in wrestling, he has won coach of the year awards and coached state champions multiple times before being elected to the District 6 Hall of Fame. Yaniello was also a letter winner in wrestling at Penn State University during his undergraduate career.
