The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Freshman Hunter Cheek (San Antonio, Texas, Smithson Valley) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance in last week's baseball contests.

Cheek had a big week at the plate for the Phoenix. He went 8 for 11 during the week with 3 RBIs and a home run in a win over Centenary. Cheek is currently hitting .403 on the season with 31 hits, 15 RBIs and 2 home runs.
