The Wilson College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week." Freshman Megan Potter (Hagerstown, Md., South Hagerstown) was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance on the softball field.

Potter has been hot in the circle for the Phoenix earning the NEAC Pitcher of the Week award 3 weeks in a row. She has won her last 4 starts and pitched a complete game in each of those starts, 3 of which were shutouts. In victories over Lancaster Bible College and Penn State Abington, Potter allowed only 1 hit and during the LBC win tied a season high with 13 strikeouts. She currently ranks first in the NEAC with 8 wins and ranks third with a 1.58 E.R.A.
