The Wilson College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the “Athlete of the Week.”  Freshman, Jennifer Hornberger, was chosen as the Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance on the softball field.
 
Hornberger went 1-for-4 with an RBI in the Phoenix road game against Gallaudet on Tuesday, April 21.  She also was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in Wilson’s win over Penn State Abington at home on April 25. Hornberger continued her offensive streak by recording two hits in four at bats against Penn State Abington on the road on April 26, helping her team snatch a 3-0 conference win and secure their co-champion finish in the NEAC South Division standings.
 
Hornberger also currently leads the entire North Eastern Athletic Conference in stolen bases with 19 on the year. Congratulations Jenny!
